Indigenous Australians are keen to benefit from genomic research and medicine but demand trustworthy, ethical engagement.  When NCIG has to opportunity to host representatives of Indigenous communities and stakeholder organisations on the ANU campus we appreciate the opportunity provided for each of us to understand the other’s wishes, requirements and pressure points.   From these engagements, collaboratively developed approaches emerge.
