Informative, interesting and exciting!

Members of the WA Aboriginal Health Ethics Committee spent two days at NCIG learning about the NCIG collection and the potential value that may be leveraged from the collection by the ethical application of genomic research.  After productive discussion, we have identified a pathway for NCIG to apply for ethics approval to work in WA.  The NCIG collection includes many hundreds of samples collected from the Kimberley and elsewhere in northern Western Australia.   WA AHEC and NCIG look forward to working together over the coming months and years.
